This old cottage needed a face lift and some tlc. A few of the windows were scraped and repainted. Most of the double hungs were replaced with new vinyl double hung units. The porch decking was pressure washed and scraped than painted. New porch railings were added and all post and ceiling were painted.The old cedar shingles were removed from the cottage. New paper and flashings were put on then the new white cedar shingles were added. After installing the new siding we spayed it to weather it to give the appearance it had been on for awhile and to make the aging process more uniform. Seagulls were added to the gable and the entrance door adding charm and detail to this cottage
